Here is a recipe that is sure to be a hit even with your picky child. If you like Japanese Curry but would want something a little different this time, then this is the recipe for you. As usual, its easy and quick to make!
Ingredients (Serves 4-5):
- 100g Hayashi sauce ( roux ) *available next to curry sauce boxes at any groceries (see photo below)
- 200g sliced beef
- 2 medium sized onions
- 1 clove of garlic
Cooking:
1. Slice onions in half and slice into 1 cm sized thickness.
2. Fry sliced garlic with 1 table spoon of cooking oil in the pot and add beef and cook for 1 min.
3. Add onion in the pot and fry for 4-5 mins.
4. Add 4oo cc of water in the pot and boil.
5. Skim the scum and simmer for 15 mins.
6. Add the Hayashi sauce and simmer for 10 min.
7. Serve with rice! (See top photo for serving suggestions!)
