Tokyo Break Up Service

I am still trying to get the Fukuoka franchise for this one, but in the meantime, you Tokyo-ites might find this service useful in the near future.  In one of the busiest cities in the world, there is no time to waste on trivial things like breaking up with the one you used to love. It is so much better than sending them and SMS don’t you think?

Hi, I just found your blog via Zonjineko’s free hug photo posting; great to see that stuff can be found all over!

I like the idea of outsourcing break ups, even though I’d never do it myself. However, when I was studying in Australia, a similar phenomenon sprung up: A Rejection Line phone number! Basically if someone was trying to pick you up and kept asking for your phone nr, you could give them this rejection nr (which was a mobile nr) and when they tried to call it later, they’d be met with an answering machine message that said “The person who gave you this number doesn’t want to talk to you…” or something like that. Kinda bad, but great for getting rid of really insistent guys! ^^

Hi Lisa, Im happy there was no rejection line when I was growing up or I’m sure I will be dialing it quite often!
